Who We Are
Prism Equine is an equestrian education and training program founded by Lilly Haynes. Lilly is an equestrian educator studying Equine Administration and Equestrian Science, with a background spanning multiple disciplines and a strong emphasis on foundational horsemanship, horse welfare, and rider education.
Her approach prioritizes understanding, clear communication, and thoughtful progression for both horse and rider.
Our Vision
At Prism Equine, our vision is to create a place where horses and riders can thrive together through education, care, and connection. Just as a prism reflects light into a spectrum of colors, we believe every horse and rider brings their own strengths, challenges, and potential. Our role is to help that brilliance shine.
We envision a program that:
Empowers Riders – building confidence, skills, and knowledge to reach their goals, whether in the arena or on the trail.
Prioritizes Horse Welfare – training and nutrition practices rooted in respect, balance, and long-term well-being.
Educates Owners – offering accessible guidance in horsemanship, equine nutrition, and care so owners can make informed choices for their horses.
Builds Community – creating a supportive environment where riders of all levels feel welcome and inspired.
Our goal is to become a trusted resource for equestrians seeking not just lessons or training, but a holistic partnership built on respect, growth, and passion for the horse.
Our Story
Prism Equine is named in honor of a horse who shaped the foundation of Lilly’s horsemanship journey. Beaux, registered as Rainbows Raz Ma Taz, came into her life when they were both sixteen, and they grew together—learning, making mistakes, and developing an understanding built on time and trust.
His registered name, tied to the imagery of rainbows, inspired the name Prism—a symbol of perspective, growth, and the many elements that come together to create something whole. Through Beaux, Lilly learned that no two horses learn the same way, and that meaningful progress comes from listening, adapting, and meeting each horse where they are.
Since Beaux’s passing, Lilly is dedicated to bringing those lessons to other riders: education-focused horsemanship that honors the individuality of both horse and rider, and values growth over quick results.
