Scheduling & Booking
All lessons, training services, and consultation services are by appointment only. Services must be booked in advanced and are subject to availability.
Prism Equine reserves the right to decline services that are not an appropriate fit.
Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in advanced. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at booking.
Failure to submit payment at the time of service may result in the inability to schedule future appointments.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advanced.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be charged the full service fee. This includes no-shows.
Weather-related cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis with safety as the priority.
Safety Expecations
Safety is the top priority oat Prism Equine.
Riders and participants are expected to follow all instructions provided during lessons and sessions.
Prism Equine reserves the right to end any session if safety concerns arise.
Assumption of Risk
Working with horses involves inherent risk.
By participating in lessons, training, or consulting services, clients acknowledge and accept these risks.
Horse Training
Prism Equine reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time due to safety concerns, policy violations, or situations that fall outside of the scope of services offered.

Age requirements vary by service. Riding lessons are available to those 5 and up as this is typically when children have developed the cognitive understanding and fine/gross motor skills necessary to safely follow instruction and participate in mounted activities.
Horsemanship & Care Education services are available to those 8 and up as these sessions require greater attention span, physical coordination, and the ability to understand safety concepts related to horse care and handling.

Riders under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian on-site for the duration of the lesson.

ASTM/SEI approved helmets are required for all mounted lessons for riders under the age of 18.

Anyone participating in mounted or care lessons must wear closed-toe, leather boots with a defined heel, long pants like jeans, breeches, or jods, and any other weather appropriate clothing that allows for a full range of motion.

Training services are offered on a case-by-case basis. Goals, expectations, and scope will be discussed prior to scheduling. Prism Equine does not offer quick-fix training.

We offer three types of consultations related to nutrition. We offer a Body Condition Scoring Consult, a Feed Program Review, and a Feed & Condition Evaluation which is a discounted combination of the previous consultation types. We also offer a couple of add-ons: Follow-Up Consultations and Budget Breakdowns. For more information on these services, contact Prism Equine.
